Ashley Secarea, Research Analyst II
Ashley Secarea is a Research Analyst II with the Governor’s Office of Gang and Youth Violence Policy (OGYVP). In this role, she is involved in the ongoing collection and analysis of criminal justice data, the development of the OGYVP’s list of evidence-based practices, and the Safe Community Partnership as part of the CalGRIP Initiative.
Since 2003, Ms. Secarea has been involved in several criminal justice research projects, and has presented research at both regional and national conferences. In addition, she has served as a committee member on the Association of Psychological Science’s RiSE-UP (Research on Socially and Economically Underrepresented Populations) Committee from 2004 to 2006.
Ms. Secarea received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento.
