Legislation

Some kids scrub a wooden fence to remove graffiti.

The former Governor's Office of Gang and Youth Violence Policy (OGYVP) tracked bills of interest at both the state and federal levels in the areas of gang and youth violence, prevention and early intervention, job training and workforce development, juvenile justice, corrections, reentry and other areas that affect at-risk youth and community safety.

Please Note:  OGYVP was eliminated from the FY 2011/12 state budget and closed on December 31, 2011.
